We took a trip to the bigger town called Lenakel. The ride in the back of the car was hilarious with Calle ll, Stine, Rob, Sebastian and Sonia. The kids had great fun and we did couple of pit stops for photos.
Yes, that was the road and no health and safety moaning about seatbelts, just the way we like it….
Went to this beautiful market and the vegetables was so cheap it was ridiculous. Had a laugh with the locals and lunch. Travelling is tiring as two out of my three fell asleep while we were waiting for our ride back.
on the way back it got all exciting again as we had a stop and came across this amazingly beautiful and cute fruit bat. We were all fighting to hold it and fed him some banana….
The rest of the time there was spent schooling, cleaning and prepping to leave again. The time was to short. Wished we could have stayed longer but many more miles to go to get to Australia and hurricane season was looming over us.
