November-December 2022

November was all about Friday market, beach and Christmas tree in super early!

The market is all about food, friendships and selling all kind of stuff. It’s great for the kids as they all go off and we adults sit and chat with few drinks. There’s also entertainment…

Hairy scary

Borrowed a Christmas tree from Catlin and I have ever had a tree in as early as November but why not.

Mommi was also coming over for the holidays so it was all exciting.

Super grandma who got picked up from the airport, straight to Ao Po Marina to check the boat out and her first massaman curry. What a stamina.

So the idea was to spend Christmas on the boat but we were battling against the time. The boat was still on hard and plenty to do on it. Finally we splashed at 10 pm on a Wednesday night which is always a bit hairy and as that part went fine only to run aground when we were set free. Cheesus! Lucky it’s mud and reverse in and we were free again.

As time went by we realised that Christmas will be spent home in the house and to take the boat out for New year. Mommi sat at the pool in the Marina while we were working keeping an eye on various kids.

We also went to Soi dog

And the rabbit hole

We had also booked the Swedish feast at Karlssons in Patong. Trying to recreate the fun from year before but that didn’t go as planned. Few days before Chris realised that he’s got to do a border run on the 24 so we had to drive up north to get him fro the airport and then drive south to Patong beach in shit traffic. By the time we sat down for dinner, we were all knackered and in no mood of even trying to be jolly.

And this was the scene when we got home🤪

Take two, another go. Christmas Day. Started off brunch with platter of cold meats, cheese and salmon. Nice. Few presents later off we went to Bangtao beach.

Bit of fun

And finally we could get on the boat.
